Alpha is an 11-week course exploring the basics of the Christian faith and it runs all around the globe. Alpha creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life and God. At Smawthorne we’re next running Alpha in January 2024.
Exploring lifes big questions
People attend the course for a variety of reasons. Some are seeking to find out the meaning of life or about the Christian faith. Others have perhaps been to church in the past but haven't felt that they've understood what Christianity is all about.
Who is it for?
The Alpha course is primarily for those who don't class themselves as a Christian but are interested or open to faith and God. No matter your background or how little you know about Christianity, Alpha is for you and you're very welcome.
When is the next course and how do I sign up?
